How Our Fees Work
We keep it simple. There's only one fee:
10%
Platform fee on every sale. That's it.
Stripe's processing fee (~3%) is separate and applies on all platforms.
Let's break it down with an example. You sell a resource for $10.00:
- SchoolHouseStock fee (10%): $1.00
- Stripe processing (~3%): $0.30 + $0.30
- You receive: ~$8.40

When You Get Paid
With Stripe Connect, you get paid instantly. When a buyer completes a purchase, the money flows through Stripe directly to your connected bank account. Depending on your bank, funds typically appear within 2-3 business days (the standard Stripe payout schedule).

Tips for Your First $100
Start with what you already have
You probably have dozens of worksheets, slide decks, and activities on your computer right now. Clean them up, add a nice cover image, and list them. Don't wait until you've created the "perfect" resource.
Offer one or two freebies
Free resources build trust. Teachers download them, love them, and come back to buy your paid resources. Think of freebies as your marketing strategy.
Create a bundle
Bundles have a higher price point and are often better value for buyers. Bundle 5-10 related worksheets together and price the bundle at a 20-30% discount vs. buying individually.
Share on social media
Post your resources in Facebook teacher groups, on Instagram, and on Pinterest. Pinterest in particular is a goldmine — teachers search there for classroom ideas constantly.
Aim for 10+ listings
